Let's Play Maths: learning about maths through physical activities

What we plan to do next

  • Bring in the use of play diaries for Primary 1 children to provide opportunities for discussion and further experiences.
  • Use the new numeracy outcomes for planning; bring Primary 1 planning more in line with the nursery style of planning (shorter blocks and more responsive).
  • Record in detail our monitoring and assessment procedures.
